For two days, the 2018 Westbank Heritage Festival returns to Westwego at the Alario Center with a lineup starring local and national talents.

Raheem DeVaughn, Juvenile, Donell Jones, Partners-N-Crime, Amanda Shaw, Shamarr Allen, Denisia, Tucka and DJ Captain Charles are confirmed performers for this year’s festival, which will be hosted by Downtown Lesli Brown and Gralen Banks. But wait…there’s more!

The 2018 Westbank Heritage Festival returns to Westwego's Alario Center Oct. 13 and 14, starring Juvenile, Partners-N-Crime (PNC), Raheem DeVaughn, Tucka, Donell Jones, DJ Captain Charles, Amanda Shaw, Shamarr Allen and Denisia. The festival will be hosted by Downtown Lesli Brown and Gralen Banks.

The first-ever Westbank Heritage Festival will take place on Sept. 5-6 at the Segnette Field at the Alario Center in Westwego.

There were no violins or pianos or guitars littering Trenton Ray Thomas' home in Baton Rouge when he was growing up. He doesn't have an uncle that plays trumpet or a cousin who headlines a hip hop group.

The Westbank Heritage Festival is back for its second year at Segnette Field in Westwego.

Prince protege Morris Day, the mirror-loving funk singer who was featured prominently in the late singer's film "Purple Rain'' with his band The Time, will headline West Bank Heritage Festival along with Mystikal and Jodeci at the Alario Center, Segnette Field, 2000 Segnette Blvd., Westwego, on Sept. 3 and 4.

The Westbank Heritage Festival dodged rainy and inclement weather Labor Day weekend, but the festivalgoers still got a good dose of live music and an array of New Orleans-style food. The festival took place at the Alario Center and Segnette Field near Westwego.
